"You are exceptionally quiet," Logan said loud enough so that Scarlett could hear him, despite the flapping sound of Rizontie's wings.
Scarlett chose to ignore Logan's words. What on earth would she reply to that? She attacked her friends and brother last night. If not for Logan's presence of mind, they would be doing Laurent's funeral.
"It wasn't your fault." Logan got closer, whispering in her ears. He had no shame that Laurent and Frost, flying behind them, would see him getting closer to Scarlett.
