By the dim light of the bedside lamp I’m watching Anna sleep in her cot. The city is waking but there is only a tiny strip of light streaming through the curtain. The dark brown drapes are thin and faded in the sunlight. The old wooden floor is covered by a rug in matching dark brown, and there is a thick, colorful playmat in the middle. I imagine Anna playing on it. I glance at Csilla sleeping by my side, her breasts touch my chest. I’m lying on my side, propped up on one elbow. I have no idea how to continue. After making love we went to sleep, but this woman beside me is giving me sleepless nights once again. I like her solution but I feel increasingly vulnerable.
