The festivities are still in full swing at sunrise. This will last for days but there is someone waiting for me in my palace. Someone who’s mine. I’m sure Yasmin was prepared for the wedding night. My mother and her mother must have taken care of her well.
I get up anxiously and my father rises too. There’s a smile on his face but his eyes are baggy despite their charm. A lot of men watch me preparing to leave. They all know there’s something good waiting ahead.
