The Beginning

JASON'S POV

I was doing some of my paperworks when my second in command/beta barged in.

"Boss, someone managed to hack into our system without leaving a trace behind." my second in command /beta, Vincent, said panting.

"Did you manage to find out what they wanted." I asked.

"Thats the problem the tech department was unable to, he was fast everything happened in a nick to time."he said warily

"Is it possible to track him." I asked

"It's difficult but not impossible."

"Try to track the person down and let me know. I want to know who has the guts to hack into our system and steal our files." I sneered. He is a dead meat once I find him. "And find out what files he stole." I continued.

He looked away nervously and scratched the back of his head.

'They probably weren't able to find out.' My wolf Jack said sneering.

"Thats the mysterious thing all the files are there. He didn't steal anything." He said visibly confused.

That information left me baffled.

Is someone pulling a prank on me. Is the hacker a teenager who just wanted to test his ability. Then a thought hit me.

"Which is our upcoming project that we will be competing for with Morotti industries." I asked and listened to him telling me the project's name. "Check if the file is there."

"The file is there." He said confidently.

"Check the contents." I said rolling my eyes.

He passes the information to the tech department.

"WHAT" He yelled out after a couple minutes.

Confirming what I wanted to know. Can't believe they stooped to that level to get his hands on the project.

I asked him to hack into their company and buy all the pojects he wanted his hands on and to find that hacker.

'No one gets away unscathed after trying to destroy our company.' My wolf said in my head menacingly.

"Yes, sir." Vincent said and scurried away.

CRYSTAL'S POV

'Another one in the can.' I thought stretching my hands.

I checked my account to see the $20,000 we agreed upon transfered to my account.

That was easy, hehehe. I would pay to see their reaction when they find out their file's content was replaced with porn. Dont mess with a pro, amateurs. Hehehe'

"Mommy." My niece cried out for me in her sleep.

Her mother was my sister. She abandoned her after she gave birth to her.

I vividly remember that day.

She called the day she gave birth, after almost one year of no communication, and said she needed me, I went there only to be greeted by a wailing newborn child.

I asked the receptionist if this was the right room and she explained that my sister got pregnant and gave birth to a baby girl and she ran away after making a phone call, I'm assuming that phone call was for me. She asked me if I wanted to put her up for adoption. I said I will take her in and raise her.

That bitch didn't even sign her birth certificate. I was livid.

I had college and I had to take care of her which was difficult so I dropped out from college and was with her 24/7. I was a gifted hacker, I never told anyone about this talent of mine. Since my parents died, this is how I make ends meet though I did make some cash by doing my classmates homework. That way no one will be suspicious on how I make a living after my sister left me as soon as she was an adult.

After adopting her I wanted to make more money to give her everything her heart desired. She doesn't know that I'm not her mom and I will bring hell to earth before letting her find out about it.

She stopped twitching in her sleep and was in a peaceful slumber.

I went to lay beside her after making sure I logged out of the computer and drifted off to sleep.

I have a bad feeling.
