HER eyes shot open when she realized that she was alone in bed. Not only that she felt cold but she also felt annoyed by it. This is not the first time that Monette has woken up in bed alone. It happened twice in three days. She did not like it the first time. It was fine if the woman that she was looking for was in the bathroom but no. Monette knew that she was already alone.
