Dominic’s POV I reached for the car door where Samantha sat with the twins, their small forms huddled together in the backseat. “Wait for me,” I said. “I’ll drive you home. Just give me a minute.” She did not respond, did not even look at me. Her silence was louder than any words she could have spoken.
