Argo raced across the pack territory toward the east. Near the border he found it in chaos. A hundred rogues had spilled over the line, and reinforcements had been slower to respond because of the attention being paid to the western edge of the territory. As soon as they sensed their Alpha on the field, the Winter Moon warriors rallied. Argo raised his head to issue a challenging howl before rushing toward the nearest rogue. Alexander watched as his wolf tore into its adversary and anyone who was foolish enough to threaten his mate.
