"Why the hell do you look grumpy?" Prudence asked softly in the car.
Wasn't it obvious?. I agreed to go to that f****d up school for Peter. And now the same man I followed wasn't attending it. And what's worse was that news about him being an alpha and having a mate was all I could hear everywhere. I was furious. But sadly I couldn't follow him, because he was now staying at a pack according to prudence, and we all knew how dangerous werewolf packs were to rogues.
I was a shifter, not a human. Crossing their territory would mean death. And dying was the last thing on my mind.
