I walked out of my room lazily and went downstairs to the living room where my mother's voice was coming from.
Immediately I walked in, they both looked at me.
Prudence sat on a couch with Amar on her lap.
"What's with that long face?" Amar asked softly.
I shrugged then walked to the couch opposite theirs and sat down.
"Did you by any chance miss school?" She asked as I tensed.
Missed?. No way, I hated it badly. I still couldn't believe that Ken would do that to me.
I told him clearly "I will look for you after class. I really need you to buy my lipstick. You messed it up so it's your responsibility to take me shopping after class."
