I was nervous, very nervous than I have ever been. Usually, it was Mara who got this nervous and I was there to calm her down. Now I was the one who was nervous and she wasn't there for me.
After her meal with our mate, they decided to sneak out of the house and go out for a run. I wasn't ready to meet my soon to be Alpha no matter how I looked at it, but having him request to spend time with me made me feel so happy.
