"You guys are amazing, you know that, don't you?" She dialed Tuni's number and counted the rings. "Hello," Tuni's voice still had the rasp making her sound like a soprano Lurch. "Hi Tuni, it's Marilyn. I'm taking courses at the University in Seattle. You up for supper?" "Of course," Tuni said. "I was planning to call you myself, I bumped into a friend of yours." "Where do you want to meet?" "There's a nice little Indian buffet not far from the University." Tuni gave directions and they agreed on a time.
