“Please, help me,” Will says. I look into his pleading eyes and realize that I am supposed to be the one to help him fix the past mistakes of the council and prior alphas. I know that he needs my help, but I just want to be mad at him for a little bit. I’m not sure why.
I take a deep breath and sigh. “I’ll help you, but I’m doing this for our people and our pack.” I step off the elevator and start to head to our bedroom. If I’m going to be mad at him, I at least want to be comfortable.
“I wouldn’t have it any other way. When do you want to start?” He is on my heels.
“I guess, let’s start in the morning. I’m too exhausted and I need time to just be hangry with you.”
“Hangry? As in most of this anger is coming from you being hungry?”
I stop in front of the door and feel a blush creep
