I woke up the following morning to the usual throwing up. This time, I noticed the change that happened last night; I have a ring on my left hand. The ring is made of white gold with a beautiful diamond set into it. The diamond is surrounded by two sapphires and two emeralds. I can’t help the smile that breaks across my face as I stare at it. The ring itself isn’t that heavy, but the knowledge it brings is. I am engaged to my wonderful mate.
I continue to throw up for a couple of more minutes, then I get up and start on my normal routine of getting a shower, brushing my teeth, and brushing my hair. When I get out of the bathroom, Will is sitting up in bed with his back pressed against the headboard. “Good morning, beautiful.”
