The nurse finally comes by with the discharge paperwork and we are able to finally leave. I help Mia get to the car and I drive us back to the pack house. When we get there, I take her upstairs to our room and get her settled into the room. I place her on the couch with the remote, her laptop, and a fluffy blanket to cuddle under. I give her a kiss and tell her to mind link me if she needs anything. I told her I would be in the meeting rooms with the council, Logan, Tyler, Liam, and my father. She nods her head as she flips open her laptop and starts looking for paint colors for the nursery. I can’t help the smile that spreads across my face.
