“Do me the honor of taking a brief walk with me!” I said with a smile and she did the same, probably because of the watchful eyes on us.
“Sure!” She replied before enclosing her hand with mine. The guests cheered loudly as we walked away from the garden.
As we walked away towards the front entrance of the house, the chattering from the guests became more distance to us.
“You look stunning in your dress!” I said in a bit to clear the awkwardness between us.
