“So, you are not going to go in there and talk to her?”, Jake asked.
“Nope, I spoke enough”, I said, not looking at him.
“Bro, what if it is a trap?”, Jake asked.
“Dell is going with her. It is harder to abduct two people than one”, I said with a shrug.
“You got to be f*****g kidding me. I love Dell and I know you care about Karma. Why are you letting her go to meet that asshole?”, Jake asked.
“Because right now Karma is acting like a teenager whose daddy told her she can't go out with the neighborhood bad boy. The more I tell her no, the more she wants to see him. I am not doing the tug-a war s**t with her. And you love Dell?”, I said.
