I am glad Lance and I talked about last night. At some point I will have to end my contract with L. I am not sure if it is me letting L go or the money that has me hesitant. I let both men see me the way I never let anyone see me. As I ate, I tried to figure out my life and the situation. Why couldn’t I have both of them? Lance made it clear he did not want to share me.
“Damn”, Lance said, breaking my train of thought.
“Something wrong?”, I asked.
“Yeah, and no. The anniversary of the company is next week. And since I am the CEO, I have to plan and host the party”, he said, clearly frustrated.
