“What the hell did you just say”, I said, walking towards Karam. I know damn well I heard her wrong.
“I can't go out with you guys because I have a date”, I said in a stern tone.
“Let me get this straight. After what happened today, you are going out on a f*****g date?”, I said, pissed off.
“Last time I checked I was a grown ass woman”, she said, crossing my arms over my chest.
“You are right, you are a grown woman. Thanks for letting us know I will make reservations for three and not four”, I said, then went back to my desk.
