“So, what did you and Lance do today”, Dell said, closing the door after we watched Lance drive off.
“Just finish some touches for the party. Actually, since Karma has been forced by us to take half days, I have been playing the role of Lance's secretary”, I said.
“We made the right choice, making her take half days. I can't wait until she goes to the doctor, so we can find out what is wrong with her”, he said.
“Did she say how long she would be at her aunt's house?”, I asked.
“She said if she stays late, she will text us and let us know. I told her to stay at her aunt's house if she is going to stay past dark”, he said.
“What's for dinner?”, I asked jokingly.
