Francesca tore her eyes away from Jonas and glanced at the others.
She noticed immediately that Selene was holding something, and she could see that it was a magazine.
“What is that?”
Selene shied away slightly, and it confirmed what Francesca had started to realize - whatever the issue was it was tied to that thing.
“I wasn’t looking for this… I have just been trying to learn the language and I figured these things all use pretty basic language so…”
Selene took a deep breath and stopped trying to explain herself.
She passed the magazine to Francesca and they waited silently for her to take in the information.
“It’s… a garbage gossip-rag? What am I supposed to be looking at here?”
Jonas took the magazine back from her, then handed it back opened to one of the pages.
