Elizabeth couldn’t argue with Sawyer;considering settling down was the sensible thing to do.
That did not make the thought any more appealing, and she had to fight with herself not to say something overly critical.
“I can see that it would be beneficial to settle down, and I know that it’s an instinctive thing for you. I’ll keep it in mind.”
Sawyer looked a little surprised, but he smiled and told Elizabeth he was grateful to her.
“Perhaps we should talk to Selene about it when we get back? Or I can ask my sister and Jonas whether they plan on asking to be accepted into the pack?”
