Finding out the truth about her father had not made her feel like she was part of an ancient bloodline of wolves that she should be proud of - it made her feel like she was inferior to all of the others she had met, and the attitude people like Cordelia had towards her only cemented that belief.
She was not familiar enough with her own culture to understand exactly how unusual it was for people to have as many of the skills as she did, and she hadn’t fully grasped how unusual the people she spent her time with really were, compared to the rest of their kind.
