Cornelia woke up with a start when the train stopped. She looked around to find Antonio sitting on his seat like a rock. Next to her was Aetius.
It was their second night in on the way to the elders and the second night Cornelia didn't want to sleep but Aetius and Antonio both insisted that she did and they wouldn't be sleeping anyway.
Aetius and Antonio got along well, much to her surprise. She figured they bonded while she slept.
"Are we there?" She asked.
Antonio nodded and Aetius replied with a small yes. Aetius stepped out of the coach first and helped Cornelia, Antonio and the guard followed behind them. They hadn't even bothered to ask the guard for his name, which Cornelia thought wasn't a big deal now since they didn't have that kind of time, they had to talk to the elders
