"How could this have possibly of happened?!" Mina roared in her office. Her eyes were completely blood red and her teeth were poking out like sharp daggers, there was no color whatsoever on her pale face. She glared at me, but I kept a calm composure not trying to let any clues slip through.
"He ran ahead of me despite my warnings. He was being careless." My voice was flat but it fooled Mina because her eyes returned to normal.
"Lucian had been alive too long. He was always an impulsive child." She paced back and forth her black heels echoing around me and through out the room.
"The angel was making his departure when I found Lucian's body. I lunged forward but his light blasted me backwards and he escaped." I continued.
"He must have had help!" She shouted her eyes
