It was two weeks before the Summer Solstice and everyone was on edge. My father and I had spent as much free time as we could working on the cure but there was always something off and I could tell he was frustrated and annoyed. I had insisted that we shouldn't go barging into Seth's castle without at least an antidote in case we needed it and while the others were unsure and worried about us taking too long to get to Aileen, they agreed that it was our best move.
