Xavier’s pov
Last night was hard, I was grateful that Dani spoke, as I had no idea where to start. Even if it was at my expense, to see both of my mates laugh genuinely filled my heart with an unknown joy. They were both so beautiful, and it made them light up. It was the most beautiful sound I had ever heard, as if even their laughter harmonised with each other, creating something magical.
I could tell none of this was easy for Raquel, and I knew I had to lay myself bare for her, not caring how much my behaviour filled me with shame. She needed to hear everything, I couldn’t hold back even a small amount if I wanted to win her trust.
