Chapter 20 Danielle’s pov For the first couple of days after Raquel left, I basically stayed in my childhood bedroom, not wanting to see anyone. Mum didn’t let me dwell any longer than that and forced me into the shower, then downstairs to eat. Although I really wanted to wallow alone in my room, I ended up glad she made me move, as it made me realise that it wouldn’t help anyone. In the end, I would only be hurting myself and my family. It certainly wouldn’t change a thing. By the time lunchtime came, Kelly had come for a visit to have lunch and a chat with me. It was her idea for us to take over visiting the pack members who were on their own and organise the weekly meet-up. We knew this was not only important to Raquel but meant the world to the people she visited. When I got the
