Xavier’s pov
With everything that had been going on this week I had completely forgotten that Dani and I would become a lycan until I doubled over in pain, and so did Dani as if my change had brought on hers. Raquel carried Dani while Vlad carried me out of the castle until we were in a clearing.
Most of the extended family had left now, but Callum, Vlad, Raphael, Angelina, Gloria, and Pete, and Raquel’s grandparents Christian and Isabelle joined us for the change. It is important for family to bond with a new lycan, and they were all here for us. Fu.ck, it felt worse than the first time I shifted, but luckily, it didn’t take as long. Raquel and Raven sent their love through the bond to keep us calm and distracted.
