Xavier’s pov
I feel like I am walking on air right now, Raquel has finally forgiven me and wants to move back in with us. I was overcome with emotions, I didn’t care how it looked for an Alpha to be in tears. All that I cared about was that I had won her heart. Even better, it led to our first proper kiss, and she tasted even better than I imagined it would.
I quickly got packed up for us to leave, thankful it was only an hour and a half away. The last thing I wanted was for Raquel to miss the birth of her first nephew. She really wanted to be there for Angelina, as they were the only family she had. Raquel had told us about her, and it was hard to think that such a sweet woman suffered so much. At least she has her happy ending now.
