Xavier’s pov
You have no idea how proud I was that my beautiful mate won the entire tournament. As a future Alpha, I was proud that two of my pack members also placed in the top 8. Gracie was asked to join the elite squad, as they use the tournament for recruitment also. She had not long turned 18, and her mate wasn’t in the pack, so after a bit of encouragement from Raquel, she was excited to accept their offer.
She asked that I keep her medal at the pack for her family and friends to see how well she did. We will have to set up a display somewhere for the new silverware we had gained this weekend. The best thing, though, was when Raquel said she would come back with us. She just wanted one last night with her family and friends.
