Kain waits until the door is locked behind Jay before he speaks up. "I'll go kick her out. I'll be right back." "Don't go." I'm very panicky as I grab his arm. "Don't leave me." "Bella-" "I don't want you to go. I have this sinking feeling and it terrifies me." "Come with me, then. I won't let you out my sight if that'll make you feel better." I instantly nod. "Okay." We both get to our feet. I lead the way with Kain right behind me and we go back to the party. It takes my eyes a blind minute to adjust to the revolving disco lights in the living room.
