It's raining outside.
My vision is blurred. Everything is gray, the rage and the fire inside my heart is a burning red, but all I see is blue.
The tightness in my chest is making it hard to breath so my lips are parted as I manually intake deep breaths of the damp air outside.
Ryan, who's shielding himself beneath an umbrella, is waiting beside the car to open the door.
I slide into the backseat without a greeting and I methodically wear my seatbelt. I'm aware of Jade seated right beside me with her hand clasping mine but that barely registers in my head.
