I give out a nervous laugh at his serious gaze and hear him inhale through his nostrils deeply as he moves in my direction. His eyes close and when he opens them familiar red glow appears.
“This time is going to be different,” he says in a husky voice. This is probably a warning, but I can’t hold back my inner excitement and bite my lip anxiously. A growl emerges from him in return to my actions. He walks in circles around me, just like a predator. The dragon vision still on and I feel so vulnerable under his gaze. Maybe that’s why when he steps closer, I can’t help but give out a little whimper.
He stretches his hand to me, stroking the sensitive skin on my cheek and then neck… One swift move and I feel how the ruby necklace falls to my feet.
