CHAPTER 29 FREYA   I cross the garden quickly. This part of the Academy is practically empty now. I enter the small woodland that I know now is being used for Earth mages practice. I am not losing you this time! I am pretty sure what I saw now!   Another flash of white and sounds of broken twigs. I run faster, noticing the fluffy white tail before me.   “Wait!” I shout, “Come here! I am not going to hurt you!”   But the damn fox keeps running away. I try to follow it as fast as I can, leaves and twigs getting into my hair.   “I’ve got food!” I yell out of desperation and suddenly the fox stops. Yes!   I stop too and bite my lip, carefully getting the bag with biscuits out of my pocket.   “Good little foxy,” I smile and squat down, slowly getting one of the biscuits out and stretch
