Leon Vedder It was awkward to hear Grams say those things about Elisa. Elisa is a fantastic woman in her own right. She has endured so many things and rose above them. She is resilient and intelligent, beautiful and competent. Indeed, any man would be lucky to have her in his life, and definitely, I am a f*****g lucky man. I could hear the inevitable disappointment in Grams's voice about Elisa, but I didn't hit it off. I can't even grasp the idea that placing me here in the pool house with me was part of a master plan that, even when they believed it didn't work, worked like a f*****g charm. I knew Eddie's family was meddlesome, to say the least, and that Grams was a very manipulative old lady, but this was another f*****g league, and to be honest... deep down, I am f*****g thankful.
