Chapter No.4

1360 Words
Cassandra Petrova:- "What the hell is wrong with you, Eliseo?" I finally managed to speak and took steps towards him. "What game are you trying to play? I am not pregnant, and you sure as well know it." "Are you sure you are not pregnant with my child, Diavoletta Mia?" he asked, pushing Dominic aside and placed his hand on my belly, sending shivers all over my spine and goosebumps all over my skin. I stayed silent at that moment because I wasn't sure, but I could be. I don't remember using any protection the night we had s*x. "Liar!" my father bellowed, and tried to strike a punch at Eliseo when his men grabbed my father and held him captive, with their guns pointed at him, making everyone gasp and tremble in fear due to the power Eliseo had. "Let my father go right now, Eliseo, or I swear I am going to kill you," I warned. "You don't want to wake up the sleeping assassin in me. Trust me, I never fail the task." "Only if you admit that you are pregnant with my child," he snapped. "And, agree to come with me right now, or I will start the blood bath over here." "But, I am not pregnant with your child. You are lying. Stop creating a scene and leave!" I shouted when he pulled unlocked his phone screen and flashed the camera screen in my face, only for my eyes. The screen showed our intimate pictures from that night. I gulped and felt my whole body go rigid in its place. I looked at the screen, then Eliseo, who had a victorious smile. "Still going to say I am lying?" he asked, "Do I need to remind you of our passionate night when I was buried deep inside of you while you moaned and screamed my name as I made you come several times that night with my mouth, fingers, and my dick." "Shut up. Shut the f**k up, you asshole!" I cried, and almost raised my hand to hit him when Dominic managed to snatch the phone from Eliseo's hands. His eyes turned bloodshot red in rage and betrayal as he glared at me, then at the pictures before announcing. "Let's go back. This wedding is over." Dominic announced to his family and his men and stormed out as if he weren't there. Didn't even bother to give me another glance. I opened my mouth to deny, scream, and say something that would fix this, but nothing came out for a moment—nothing except for a single tear that decided to drop down my cheek. Dominic’s look shattered me more thoroughly than Eliseo’s invasion ever could. A mix of disgust, heartbreak, and acceptance, but most of all the disgust in her eyes for me, and everyone's eyes present at the ceremony. My father and brother were fuming with anger and wanted to kill me right then and there. At the same time, there was the background sound of my father's furious voice shouting orders, and all I could see was Eliseo moving closer to me, step by step, with slow, deadly breath. I fell back, but there was nowhere to go. Hate and fear battled in my chest as I glared at him with tears falling freely down my cheeks. I hissed, "You, bastard! You ruined everything. You ruined the wedding and my reputation in public." "No, I just claimed what's mine," he growls before bending down and throwing me over his shoulder and smacked on my ass. "And, I don't give a f**k about anyone or what they think." I kicked and hurled my fists against Eliseo's back, shouting at him to let me down, but Eliseo did not even flinch. As he stalked down the aisle, past the shocked guests, past the hard stares of the guards, past my family, who roared and strained to get to me, but were held back by Eliseo’s men, his arm locked around my thighs, pressing me firmly against his broad shoulder. “Put me down you son of a b***h!” I shrieked, thrashing against him. "Fight all you want, Diavoletta Mia," he said with a deep chuckle that gave me a violent shiver down to the core of my spine. "But you’re coming with me. And, this time you can bet your sweet ass that you won't be able to jump out of the window this time." A thick lump was rising in my throat, and tears obscured my vision. They were rage, terror, or the utter lack of devastation at what I’d just lost. This man shattered my life, Dominic. The illusion of safety I had built so carefully after that night was all gone. They carried me outside to the courtyard, where black SUVs were waiting, engines idling, and men with guns cordoning the area like it was a military operation and not some k********g. "Please, Eliseo," I tried again, my voice breaking. "Don’t do this. You don't want me. All you want is to hurt my family. Don’t use me to fight your war." "No," he growls. "And, don't you dare try to be all clever with me." his voice was dangerous as his hands traveled underneath my dress, and stopped at the thigh holster where I kept the weapons hidden. He pulled the holster off my body and threw it over his shoulder at one of his men, then tossed me in the car. He fixed his suit jacket while I struggled to get out of the SUV, but my ballgown wedding dress, which I didn't love in the first place, made it hard for me to escape. "f*****g princess gown!" I muttered under my breath when Eliseo slid inside, shut the door, and locked it. I kicked his rib with my legs, which were still on the seat instead of on the base. "I am not pregnant, Eliseo!" I yelled, taking out all my anger in the car, now that we were alone. "Why did you lie over there?" There was complete silence for a second before Eliseo threw his head back and laughed, a deep, dark sound that rang through my bones. "Lie?" he said, tilting his head like I’d said something endearing. "I didn’t lie, Diavoletta Mia." His breath was warm and predatory, his lips breathing down my ear as he leaned closer to my face. "You know you could be pregnant, we didn't use protection the night you implored me to f**k you. Remember, Cassandra Carter, or should I call you Cassandra Petrov, my hot, feisty, and sexy enemy?" Humiliation and anger warred inside me as I felt heat rise up my face. Heaving a hissing breath, I tried pulling away as he tried to cage me with his body, and I couldn't help but inhale his sexy, clean, masculine scent that had haunted me for the last two months. Just like the memories and his face during my wake. "I am not pregnant." I spat, glaring daggers at him. "You think I would leave something that important to chance? One night, Cassandra. That’s all it takes, and if you are not, then we can always try until you end up carrying a piece of me inside of your womb." His voice was silky smooth as he murmured the words against my skin, his breath warm and a turn on, sending a pool of pleasure down my core. My breathing was heavy, but then pure anger took over me and I lost it. "The only thing you will be getting from me is nothing but hatred, you Italian bastard!" I yelled, before landing a harsh slap on his left cheek, making the sound echo in the car, and his guard and driver turned around to look at us. They raised their gun, ready to shoot me when I realized what I had done. I was prepared for them to pull the trigger, and closed my eyes, expecting a bullet through my skull any moment,, but what I didn't expect was a furious growl from Eliseo, then his lips on mine for a demanding and punishing kiss.
