I wake up, feeling like absolute sh1t. I didn't really sleep well last night. Every time I closed my eyes, all I could see were my student's scared little eyes looking back at me, asking me to help them without actually using words, since many of them can't speak. I failed them.
I try to get up from my bed, but I feel exhausted, and I don't think I can fall back asleep. Especially since Cooper turned our phone's back on, and they keep ringing. He told me he has something to do with his dad today, so he's up, getting ready, and I am just watching the perfect view.
