I pace back and forth, waiting for something, anything.
My friends have tried to get me to sit still, but sitting still means I have time to do nothing but sit and think and me thinking is not a very good idea.
My thoughts become a lot.
Finally, the doctor comes and asks to speak to dad, Cage and me privately.
That is when we get the horrible news that whatever is in mom's brain is spreading fast.
They aren't even sure if they can operate on her.
"We are discharging her, and a specialist will be calling you to make an appointment for her," the doctor tells us.

Call the specialist now.
I will pay for the best ones.
