As soon as dad pulls the car into the parking lot of The Superno, it feels like a breath of fresh air. I have never felt the freedom here like now. It's been a while and I couldn't really talk to Avery that easily back at the pack. I know she is my biological mother and all that stuff, but I can't seem to call her mom. Not yet, maybe.
Roger stayed back at the pack. He realized that the school life wasn't for him. But Uncle Ivan promised me that he will be back soon, since education is important and we are set to pave way for many more from our race.
