Maddox's POV
"Hello Steve" I greet him as soon as I walk into my office and I am also a little surprised to see Ophelia. Not that I care, but I thought it will just be Steve and I for now.
"Hello" he smiles at me as I take a seat before him.
I just smile at Ophelia and she smiles back at me. I take my seat and debate on how to start the conversation.
"I did not know that you were here too" I whisper with a smile at Ophelia.
"It was a last minute planning, actually. She wanted to see her sister and she told me about a few things I did not see coming at the moment" Steve tells me and I look at Ophelia.
Is it about the ring I purchased earlier with her help? I mentally roll my eyes at the way she cannot even keep a secret to herself.
