Maddox's POV
I quickly drive back to my pack. I have been away from it for a whole day. I don't know what I was thinking. I know I blame it all on Edgar calling me and the journey, but most of the time I go for Zelda.
I know Ajax and I both imprinted on her. But it is getting harder to maintain a personal life and pack life. I am also new to this so I don't know how people do it perfectly.
The borders are already down and I am half panicking. I drive in through the open gates and I find Ian with the army. Kelsie is with the women and Lucia is moving the kids and sick to the safe house.
Once everyone notices my presence, they bow down and Ian almost cries. I get out of the car and walk towards them. Kelsie doesn't take a second to run to me and she has a frown on her face as well.
