I booked into the hotel for the night and the staff looked a little surprised to see me again. The last time they saw me, I was excited about my new house and I didn’t stay in the hotel for that long. I was only booking one night this time, but I told the receptionist it might be a little longer. I wasn’t sure and really didn’t want to get into my personal life with the hotel staff.
The room they gave me was simple compared to the one I stayed in before. This time I took a single room and not a suite, so none of the expensive extras were there, but I was actually too tired to worry about it. All I needed was the bed in any case.
