MADISON'S POV
"You're the head warrior of your pack?" One of the shewolves ask excitedly.
"Yes, she is. She is called 'bear hunter' for her strength and is like a blessing for the Red Crescent Pack." Amanda replies instead of me looking happy.
"I am just doing what I like to do and think everyone should follow their dreams too." I remark looking at other shewolves who are busy with various things but none of them are training which makes me sad.
"Our beta female trains too with Beta Merrick but our mates don't let us do that saying that a woman should know her boundary." Another shewolf remark making me clench my fist in anger.
"Why do you guys believe them? Just because they are your mates? What if one day, there is a surprise attack on the pack and the males are not here to protect your pups. What will you be doing to save your kids?" I ask looking at them but none of them are able to make eye contact with me.
"Now, you guys don't have anything to tell me! Think about what I just and then answer me. Believe me, I will be very happy to help you but that will only be possible if you guys want to take my help." I let out.
"I think you guys should think about what Madison just said. I know her from childhood and I can guarantee you that no one will be a better trainer than her." Amanda says with a genuine smile on her face.
"Why are you putting unnecessary things in their mind?" Someone says from behind but I already remember where I have heard the voice.
"Why are you asking questions which don't bother your concern?" I retort looking back at Jessica who scowls at me.
"What do you think of yourself? You are not from here, you have come from outside, so stay within your limits." Jessica remarks while I smile looking at her.
"I feel like you should stay within your limits because I am from outside or from here it doesn't matter. It does matter that I am above you in rank." I reply calmly.
"Do you really think like you can beat our warriors? You can't even lift any of their fingers because that's how powerful they are. So, it will be better if you leave before they embarrass you in front of everyone." She remarks sassily.
I get to reply but suddenly a kid runs toward me and informs me that Alpha Alessandro wants me to meet him in his office. I let out a sigh because I definitely don't want to talk to him but as he is the leader of this pack, I can't avoid him all the time.
So, I walk inside the packhouse and then on the way to the Alpha Alessandro's office. I knock on the door before walking inside to find him alone. Ava is already jumping up and down in joy seeing our mate but on the other hand, I want to leave this as early as I can.
"What do you need?" I ask going direct to the point because I don't have time for unnecessary talk.
"For you to leave my pack right now." Alpha Alessandro replies with a blank look.
"Why? Is that how you treat your guest?" I retort quirking an eyebrow.
"If you think of yourself as a guest, then the guests do not stay in someone else's house for so many days, so what are you doing here?" He asks back making me smirk at him.
"Actually, you are right. A guest should not stay in someone's place for too long but in my case, the situation is a little different. I may be a guest in your eyes but in the methods of the Moon Goddess I am the future luna of this pack." I let out liking the way his nose flare up in anger.
"What the f**k are you talking about, Madison?" He growls as if I will get scared. But poor him doesn't even know what I am capable of.
"Shh, Mr. Alpha. Why are you getting so worked up? It's not like I have said anything out of place. I am your mate so technically it makes me the luna of this pack." I reply with a shrug.
"You are my rejected mate. Did you hear me? A rejected mate, that's all you are for me so you can't be the luna of this pack." He replies getting up from his seat.
"You call yourself an alpha yet you don't have the basic knowledge of rejection. Then let me enlighten you. A rejection can only work when both parties accept the rejection but I think you're forgetting that I haven't accepted the rejection yet. So, it means that we are still mates." I let out looking at him with a smug smile.
His poor face is worth seeing. It is as if I have taken the life of his dog which has his face turned pale. I really want to laugh but I also know that it's a serious matter. So, with the immense effect, I control my laughter.
"You are joking with me, right?" He asks standing in front of me.
"Do I look like a joker to you that I will joke about such a crucial matter?" I retort folding my hands in front of my chest.
"Then you need to accept the rejection. Hell! You have to accept because I don't want you." He screams and I will be lying if his words didn't affect me at all. But I don't want to show him my emotions because he doesn't deserve it.
"You are not my boss so you can't order me. Also, your pack needs me because apparently, you are doing a shitty job for the well-being of the females of the pack." I reply glaring at him.
"What do you mean I am doing a shitty job? They are getting whatever they want so how am I not being a good alpha?" He asks looking angry as well as offended.
"If you are doing everything for their well-being then why are they not allowed to train like males? Why do they need to take permission from their men on everything? Why are they not allowed to do what they want? Why are they always told that women are only for home, they have no work outside? Why do they always have to rely on men for their own safety? Why they can not take care of their child's safety themselves?" I ask with a snarl.
"Then what do you want me to do? To change the rules which have been going on for decades? Look I am not the one who has made the rules so I can't change them. Also, I don't think the females in my pack have any problems following them so you should not think about it either." He answers making me scoff.
"If you feel like they don't have any problem with your shameful rules, then I have never seen a i***t like you." I reply shaking my head.
"Look, I don't want to argue with you anymore, so it would be better for you to leave as soon as possible and never come back." He says looking into my eyes.
"I have already told you that I am not going anywhere from here. The only purpose of my coming here is that I should teach the women here happy and I will stay here to do that. And if you think about ordering me, then let me tell you that I will not accept your order because you are not superior to me, so put that in point in your peanut-sized mind." That's all I say before storming out of there not giving a f**k if he gets angry with me.
I directly run towards the backyard before turning into my wolf and dash into the forest. I am too angry to be around anyone right now so it's better if I run for sometime to cool down.
"Who the hell does he think of himself?" Ava remarks angrily.
"The alpha of the Blue Moon Pack." I reply sarcastically.
"He can go and show his alpha power on others. Not us because neither you nor I get scared of him. He can go f**k himself." She replies making me stop running.
"Ava, are you okay?" I ask because usually it's me who lost tempear but today seems the roles have changed.
"Yes, I am completely fine. I just can't take his insult anymore. First, he decided to reject us and now trying to force us to accept the rejection. If possible, I will beat him black and blue." She replies.
"Okay, calm down for now. We are here to cool down and if we keep thinking about him then we won't be able to do that. So, please stop mentioning him." I plead and thankfully she oblige.
