Madison's POV

"What are you doing here?" Merrick asks sitting beside me.

"Nothing particular. I am just wondering about the upcoming war." I reply releasing a sigh.

"What about that?" He asks looking at me worriedly.

"The war won't be so easy to win because you are aware of the powerful group of hunter. I also know that this pack is very powerful too but something is telling me that we can't be so sure of everything." I answer.

"I know the situation is getting tricky but I also believe that the Moon Goddess has sent you here for a special reason. Maybe you will be the reason for the change our kind needs the most." He says ruffling my hair making me scowl at him.

"Hey, what are you doing?" Amanda asks walking towards us.

"Just chatting with your mate." I reply back.

"If you don't mind can you accompany me to the shopping mall? Actually, I need to buy some necessary things for the pack." Amanda says making me smile internally.

"Sure, no problem. Just give me fifteen minutes to get ready." I tell her getting up from the swing.

"Okay, then I will be waiting here for you." Amanda says.
