Celestia quietly removed her clothes, leaving only her undergarments on. The sun gently touched her skin, and the breeze carried the soft scent of the lake. She stepped closer to the water, wanting to feel calm even just for a while.
Kieran’s eyes followed her, darkening with emotion. He quickly looked away and glanced at Leon and Flint, making sure they weren’t watching her the same way he did. He wanted to pull her back, to wrap her in his arms and keep her hidden from everyone. But he knew better. Celestia needed peace. She needed to relax, not be smothered by his jealousy.
“Come on,” Athisa said with a grin, grabbing Celestia’s hand. She pulled her gently into the water before Kieran could say anything.
