The sun had just started to rise over the quiet village in the West. The sky turned soft pink and light orange as Leon and Kieran walked back toward the house. They had spent the night outside, watching over the place while everyone else rested. “They all slept through the night,” Leon said with a yawn. Kieran nodded. “Good. Let’s wake Flint and Dwayne. It’s their turn now,” he said. Both men walked around the side of the house where Flint and Dwayne were already sitting up.
