“Jedi, you’re back. It has been four days ago since the two of you left.”
Jedi gave her a fake smile in response.
“Is Red not with you? I haven’t seen him step down the chopper.”
“No, Aunt Lidia. He needed to attend to some of the matters there. Maybe after a few days he’ll be back.”
“Oh, I see.”
The caretaker took some of her belongings and walked ahead of her to the house. She sighed in relief. It was a good thing that Aunt Lidia did not ask more questions about her sudden return. The entire incident stressed her out and she was not in the mood to entertain her interrogations.
“Don’t hesitate to call whenever you need anything and I will ask your Uncle Norman to bring it here. I will prepare your food. I am sure you are hungry. Red did not inform us that you would be back today,
