Jedi fixed her one-piece swim suit and had a final glance of her reflection at the mirror.
'Perfect!' she said to herself.
She's wearing a black and pink floral one piece, it would be more perfect if she'd wear a two piece but her brother would drag her back to her room.
Today was the 26th birthday of her bestie Kei, together with her other two besties Cess and Zayne they planned to lure out Red since he's avoiding her. Tonight, she would make sure to kiss him and make him fall for her. A devilish smile curved upon her lips thinking that she would have a chance to kiss him. She planned for it so, Red would better come out or else their effort would be in vain.
She quickly tied her scarf around her waist and left the room. On her way she saw Kei and Zayne.
"Ready?" Kei asked her.
"Oh yes! Shall we?" she replied
"Oh, this will be exciting! At last bestie you will have your first kiss, but wait why are you wearing a conservative suit?"
"My brother is here and besides I don't like to flaunt my body to everyone it's for his eyes only. By the way, is my future husband here?"
"I made sure he comes, Dad invited him he can't refuse for sure since his business meeting with dad is here. And bestie I made sure that he'll be able to see you there at the pool. All is set and ready my dear Jedi. Come on and make that stone hearted Red fall for you!"
Hearing Kei made her feel excited but nervous at the same time. They went directly to the pool, there she saw Red sitting on a chair facing the pool and having a conversation with Kei's father and two other people, probably talking about business. Good thing her brother Dylan was nowhere to seen. May be Cess was doing her best to keep him busy.
"It's show time!"
She walked gracefully towards the side of the pool holding a glass of wine. She reminded herself not to look at Red's direction even if she wanted to.
Meanwhile, Red took away his eyes from the one he’s talking when he saw a familiar figure from the opposite side of the pool. He stopped talking for a moment, his eyes were fixed to the woman wearing a black and pink floral one piece with a pink scarf. She walked gracefully with a smile on her face, her wavy long hair was swaying making her more attractive. Quite simple, no make-up, fair complexion, slender proportionate body...conservative but perfect.
"Mr. Samuel are you with us?"
"Oh yes. I saw someone, I think it's my friend but he's not." He lied to cover his embarrassment, he then picked up his glass of wine.
"Ah Mr. Samuel, I think that glass is mine," Mr Aldwin reminded him hesitantly.
He smiled in apology, "Sorry Mr. Aldwin, I was not looking in picking it up."
He cursed himself for dazing out and reminded that he should avoid that troublesome woman. However, he couldn't stopped himself staring at her, there he saw the woman bumped by a man and fell on the pool.
Jedi tried her best to act as if she's drowning. She waited for Red to jump and rescue her but he seemed unmoved, then she gradually felt pain rushing up her legs. She couldn't move them and slowly her weight pulling her down. When she's about to ran out of breath she saw a hand reaching for her. It's Red, however she's too afraid for her life now to feel joy seeing him to the rescue.
She felt her body lying on the cold floor. She felt too dizzy to open her eyes but could hear the conversation around her.
"Albert do something to wake her up!" she could sense the worried in Red's voice.
"Boss? What do you mean? Am I allowed to touched her? I'm doomed!"
"Just do something to wake her up or I will fire you right now!" Red was shouting now.
"Y-yes boss!"
Jedi's consciousness wanted to move her hands to show her objection to someone touching her but her body betrayed her will.
'Damn, don't you dare touch me whoever you are, or I will break your bones when I get up!' she's shouting inside her mind.
She felt someone’s presence moving nearer to hear for she almost felt his breath.
“Albert, do it fast!” she heard Red’s shout!
Inside her head, she shouted in horror, “NO!”
