Fallen The journey to the rift was a sad one. Fallen held on to her father. Tears streamed down her cheeks even though she tried to hold them back. She was so emotional. The thought of leaving them was killing her. “You’ll come back and visit. Don’t cry,” Cassia said. He rubbed her back. He reminded her of when she was young and he would comfort her by rubbing her back. They were so good to her. Even though she’d wanted to meet her family, she never lacked anything. “I know,” she said, wiping away her tears. She smiled and looked at her father who sat on her other side.
