Lily I remain silent just watching him get into his car and drive away down the hill. The tears keep falling, and what hurts the most is that he didn't even ask why I was crying. But...what could I have told him? That one morning, I woke up with a wave of new feelings in my heart, telling me that I now belong to someone, and it was none other than my mom's friend, who was old enough to be my father?
